Hi, my name is Soomi Lee.
I am a Professor in the Department of Public Administration at the University of La Verne. My interdisciplinary research spans public finance, political economy, and urban economics. Specific research areas include residential property tax policies, metropolitan governance, and various urban public policy issues. I earned a Ph.D. in Economics and Political Science from Claremont Graduate University.
Current roles include associate editor of The Annals of Regional Science; executive board member of the Western Regional Science Association; and faculty advisor to the International City/County Management Association (ICMA) Student Chapter at the University of La Verne.
